Shopping For Prom

Nathan asked Ryann to prom, and I just love her! She is such a sweet girl and is also the captain of the Silver Wings dance team. We went shopping for a suit, found the one he liked which was light blue. Then we found out that Ryann's dress was light blue also so we went back and got the same one in dark blue. We were so lucky that his size was in stock! We also happened to find the perfect light blue tie that matched her dress perfectly! 

Hebron High School Cheer Tryouts

Out of all the things Charlotte has tried out for, this was the most stressful thing I've ever gone through with her. She, Addy, Willow, and Avery were trying out for Hebron's 9th grade cheer team. It was right before spring break. They had several practice sessions a couple of weeks before and then a week of tryouts. All the moms took turns with carpooling and picking the girls up from Arbor Creek to take them to Hebron. It was exhausting! But the girls loved the experience. They loved it so much that we were all just PRAYING they'd all make it. There were about 26 girls who tried out and only 13 made it. All 4 of them made it! I remember sitting on the couch waiting for it to be 5:00 pm when the list would be posted. We got on the website and kept refreshing it for a few minutes. The list was late. Finally it came through. When Charlotte saw her ID number, she just started screaming and was so excited. I started crying! And then when we found out that the other girls made it too, oh my gosh, so much relief that we were going to have a great spring break!!!
