Nashville Getaway!

Wayne and I flew to Nashville last week for an office Christmas Party. We had the most amazing time! It was the first time we have been away from Nathan. We really missed him, but he was at home with Mama and Papa (my parents) being completely spoiled! It was really nice for the two of us to have some time together.


We left Wednesday afternoon and had dinner that night at The Palm Restaurant for party #1. I feasted on lobster, steak, and wine!It was so delicious...especially the wine :) And then we had all of Thursday to ourselves to sight see and relax. Of course we slept in a bit and then we had lunch and walked all over the downtown area.


Here we are at the Ryman Theater which was the original Grand Ole Opry. After walking around downtown and seeing the sights, we got ready for party #2 Thursday night. My diet went completely out the door, but it was worth it! We loved having a mini vacation, but we couldn't wait to get back to our baby!
