After spending some time at home and getting unpacked, we took Nathan and Cookie to the park to play. It was a bit chilly, but Nathan didn't seem to mind.
At bath time, Nathan got to try out the kitchen sink! It was perfect because it is so big and deep, almost like his personal swimming pool!
"Let me adjust this water a little bit."
We have to constantly watch Nathan because all he wants to do is pull up on things, even during his bath!
"Did you just take a picture of my bottom?"
This is a little chair that Carrie and I used to love to sit in!
And, of course, Cookie was always right there checking on Nathan. She would come to our room first thing in the morning and wait for us to come out. She was so sweet to Nathan and he LOVED her! They even took a nap together!
The next day, we picked up Grandma and went to Garvan Gardens to see all of the pretty flowers and have a picnic. And yes, I know I went a little crazy with the pictures but I just can't help myself!
And then we came home to have one of my favorite dinners: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, bread, and peach cobbler. I definitely gained a few pounds, but it was totally worth it!
Nathan stood here for the longest time looking at all of the birds outside. We loved seeing Mom and Dad at the lake, but I wasn't as sad to leave this time because they will be here soon to spend more time with us. We can't wait until they move!

The floor on the porch was the perfect scooting ground for Nathan!

Scooter, when we played the video of you scooting and talking on the porch, Cookie jumped up and was looking for you...under the desk, in the printer, out the window..where are you Nathan? Love, Mama and Papa, and Cookie

From Aunt Carrie:
My favorite picture was of you taking a bath in the kitchen sink! I could just squeeze and kiss and hug on you all day!
