Lauren and Nate

My neighbor, Alison, and I have started our own "Mother's Day Out" program. We pick one day a week that we take turns keeping each other's babies for a couple of hours. It's really perfect because we're two houses down from each other and Lauren and Nathan really love being together! Plus, now that they're both crawling, they are more independent, but they are also really fast!

Snack time... they babbled back and forth to each other while chowing down on Cheerios.


After they got a little stir crazy from just being in my room, I opened the door and let them free! Nathan found Lauren's brush and loved banging it on the floor and playing Keep Away from Lauren.


Nathan was a little tired toward the end of the play date, but did not want to give in and take a nap just yet. All he needed was a little rest :)


And this is him looking through his legs! It's his new favorite trick, but I swear it's the hardest thing to get a picture of!


Oh and he loves to crawl in the tiny space between the couch and end table.


Time for another little rest.
