Nathan is a shoe snob now. He loves Nike and all of the shoes the famous basketball players wear. And when he sees kids at school getting cool shoes, he wants them too. The only problem is that he has expensive taste! When we were at Mama and Papa's house, he just happened to mention that he has always wanted these cool shoes called Kyrie's, so Mama told him she was proud of him for making good grades and gave him some cash! Way too easy :) Of course, Charlotte said she needed some new sandals too. So the next week, we went shoe shopping. Nathan found his dream shoes (after going to about 5 stores because they were all sold out in his size) and Charlotte found some cute sandals. Now they are very stylish!
Nathan wore his cool shoes to a Mavericks game that he got invited to with some friends. He felt so good!
Charlotte and Adalynn are still BFFs. They actually say that they are sisters. Every morning, an entourage of little girls comes to my classroom to pick up Charlotte and take her to class. They are so cute and make Charlotte feel so special. Once Adalynn walks in, they two give each other a big hug and then hold hands while they walk to class and all of the other little girls walk around them. It's hilarious. We had a school Fun Run where all of the kids got shirts and ran 3 laps around the playground. Then they got popcorn and drinks. Charlotte and Addy, held hands, walked and talked the whole way around.
