This was our summer vacation and was one of our favorite trips! Nathan and Charlotte both agreed that they loved this trip. We spent 3 days in Cape Cod and stayed at the Sea Crest Resort. We loved this place because it was so quaint and charming. It was big but didn't seem huge because it wasn't like a big modern resort. Nathan and Charlotte loved driving through the little towns and seeing the architecture. The houses were all so cute with their wood shingle roofs and perfectly manicured landscapes. I told Wayne this is where I want to live after we retire. It was just so peaceful. We spent two days at the resort beach in Cape Cod and then went to Martha's Vineyard one afternoon/evening. Martha's Vineyard was fun because they had just had the JAWS 50th anniversary party the weekend before. JAWS was filmed on Martha's Vineyard, and all of the cast came! It was fun to see all of the memorabilia. When we went to Boston, we loved that hotel as well! It was so nice and right in the middle of everything. We saw Harvard and did the Freedom Trail for all of the other sight seeing activities. While we were there, Wayne and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary! We started out in our hotel bar where Wayne kept having the bartender pour me a new glass of wine. We had so much fun talking to him and another couple there. I love the Boston accent! Then we went to another bar. I don't remember much after that, but I do know I had alot of fun! Too much fun!!! Our running joke on the trip was that every time we saw a Dunkin Donuts, we said Dun Kings which is from a commercial with Ben Affleck. Apparently I said that to Nathan and Charlotte when we got back to the hotel! Along with sight seeing, we also went to the Aquarium and a Red Sox game. It really was the best trip!
