Happy 40th birthday to the best husband and father!!!! We know how great he is but it's wonderful to see that others think the same thing. Wayne's office threw him a surprise party at the Whiskey Cake restaurant. He thought he was meeting a co-worker there to talk about a problem at work. We all hid in a back room and jumped out when he arrived. It was so fun! He said he was so relieved he wasn't going to have to fire someone! I've met most of his work friends but there were a few I've heard about but never met so it was nice to get to know them. I was so proud of Wayne! Everyone I talked to couldn't say enough nice things about him and it was nice to see everyone just having fun and not worrying about work stuff. I thought it was so special to see the amount of thought and effort they put into this party for him. We had a wonderful night! The one sad thing was that on our way out, Wayne was carrying the huge whiskey balloon centerpiece...the wind caught it and it blew apart! We watched the whiskey bottle float away and he was just left with balloon balls which he so elegantly modeled for me to take a picture of :)
