New York Day 3

We started the day at our favorite deli for bagels and coffee then headed out to do a little shopping. We did some sight seeing along the way starting with the New York Public Library. Then we walked through Bryant Park. It was a cute because it had tons of little tables and chairs on a patio area and then a big green area. People were playing cards, reading, shuffleboard, and just relaxing. Next we went to the first ever Macy's! I had no idea how nice it would be!!! When Wayne said we needed to go to Macy's, at first I was like why? I have a Macy's here. I was wrong. This Macy's was, of course, huge! And it was so nice!!! It was more like a Neiman Marcus. There were high end brands and each brand had it own section with dressing rooms. It was really pretty and fancy inside and they also had some of the original wooden escalators! Charlotte wanted to shop here. I didn't really say anything or give my opinion. I just let her pick out what she liked and try those things on. She was using part of her $200 so she kept asking me how much everything was...she's so funny like that! She loves to save her money. She finally settled on a dress she LOVED, and the crazy part is that it was on sale for $15! She changed into it and wore it the rest of the day. For Nathan, we went to the giant Foot Locker. He found some shoes he loved at the Nike store, but they were out of his size. He found what he wanted and was so happy. He also wore his purchase the rest of the day and was so careful not to step in any puddles, trash, or walk to close to any of us. He did not want anything getting on his brand new shoes!!!
Now it was time for the Broadway show Wicked!!! I was looking so forward to this! We had great seats right in the front. All of us LOVED it! Nathan and Charlotte watched it the whole time and never asked me when it was going to be over. After Wicked, we went a really nice Italian restaurant called Carmine's.  We had to walk through Times Square to get to it, and there happened to be a street performance going on. We stopped to watch and ended up becoming part of it! Nathan was on the front row when they said they needed a volunteer. He raised his hand and they called on him. They were all black and nicknamed him White Chocolate. They made all sorts of jokes and kept everyone laughing. The big trick that they did was line Nathan up with some other volunteers and jump over him. He thought it was so cool. Once we got to our restaurant, we were starving. It's a good thing because the food was delicious!!!! It was family style so we got a huge order of fettuccine Alfredo and chicken Parmesan. I ate absolutely everything because it was so good!!! We made one more stop before going home for the night. Grand Central Station. We seriously get in as much as we can!!!!
