Our baby girl was so excited about her birthday. We had a sleepover and then the girls got ready together for a nice brunch at 7 Doors in Grandscape. Everything is about a photo op! Her friends are so wonderful. They are such sweet and fun girls that I really enjoy being around. They all got her such wonderful gifts and seemed so excited about going to brunch. I loved how they all got dressed up for it. And now Charlotte has her learner's permit! I can't believe she is practicing driving!!! I'm sure there will be more mishaps, but there are two that really stick out to me. The first one was when we were driving around the neighborhood. I was in the back and Wayne was in the front. We pulled out of the alley and passed by our house right as Nathan, Drew, and Camden were getting in Nathan's car to go out. We stopped and talked a bit and then charlote drove down the street to the stop sign. As she started to go, Nathan pulled up behind her and honked so loud! It freaked her out and as she was turning right, she just kept turning and going and went up on the sidewalk and into part of this lady's yard! We were all freaking out and laughing at the same time! Then another time, we were going down the alley and when she was going to turn right out of the alley, there were so many cars parked on both sides of the road. So she had to slowly pull out of the alley. It was still kinda hard for her to judge distance and how close she is to other cars. She was supposed to put on the brake to slow down while turning, but she pushed the gas! The car lurched forward and we both yelled STOP!!!! Oh my gosh, she came so close to hitting a car right across the street, and to make it worse, a lady was out front watering her grass!
