Random pictures

I am in my 3rd week of teaching and man am I tired!!! I am really loving my sub job though and am so happy that I took the job. My kids are wonderful and the other teachers are great! But I do have a lot less time and energy at the end of the day! I usually come home around 4 and take a 30 minute nap to get through the rest of the night. I will be so sad when it's over though. At least I know I miss teaching and am excited to go back and have my own class next year.

Our favorite restaurant, Gloria's...we can sit outside on the patio and the kids can play in a huge field while we relax. On this night, Nathan and a group of boys threw a football all night!

Charlotte's friend Madeline lives in the neighborhood by the park Nathan goes to for soccer practice. Charlotte told me that she told Madeline we would be at the park for soccer practice and to email Madeleine's mom. Madeline told Charlotte she could come but she would need us to pick her up. It was so funny that they planned everything at school. So I did call Madeleine's mom and she told me Madeline told her the same thing! That they needed to go to the park that afternoon! How funny! So we met Madeline and her mom there while Nathan had soccer practice. The girls played and played and then we took her home. 

The Fun Run at nathans school...the first two pictures are of my 5th graders and the last one is of Nathan. Each grade level ran as many laps as they could to raise money for PTA. The kids had so much fun! I was teaching when it was nathan's class' turn to run but one of the special Ed teachers came into my room and told me she'd watch my class so I could go watch Nathan. So nice of her! Nathan ran 4 laps and was first in his grade level!
