Sweetheart Dance

Charlotte was so excited about her night with Daddy! Mama took her shopping for her dress and shoes. I actually went with them, but Charlotte didn't want me to shop with them or have any say in the dress...she told me that Mama always likes everything she likes. She has Mama wrapped around her finger! They did a great job shopping so I approved of it all! I got her fur wrap and headband to finish out the look. When she got ready that evening, she was so happy. She took a shower and dried her hair herself. I put on a little bit of makeup and then fixed her hair in a bun and I swear she looked like an American Girl Doll!!! She felt as beautiful as she looked! Wayne picked her up in front of the house and even brought her flowers. Then they met Adalynn and her dad at Tupy's for dinner and then went on to the dance. Wayne said she was so cute at the dance with all of her friends, but also wanted to dance with him alot. She is Daddy's little girl!

Pearce's Birthday

Sweet little Pearce had his birthday and decided all he wanted for his party was for Nathan and Charlotte to come to Austin. We had such a great weekend! We actually went to one of his friend's birthday parties where they got to do rock climbing and play games. Then we hung out at home while Carrie and I got to talk and the kids just played. For Pearce's actual birthday day, we picked up one of his friends and went to another indoor amusement park. His little friend bonded instantly with Nathan and Charlotte, and you could just tell that Pearce was so proud of his cousins!!! In fact, at the previous day's party, whenever Carrie introduced us to different people, they all said "Oh we have heard all about Nay Nay and Charlotte." Apparently, Pearce is constantly talking about them and how much he loves them. So sweet!
