Happy Halloween 2018

Halloween and Christmas are their favorite holidays! We decorated the outside  with spider webs, tombstones, caution tape, and hanging witches. They thought it looked so good! Of course, I forgot to take pictures. We also made several trips to the costume store. One to get costumes and a few others just for fun. This year was such an easy costume year! Charlotte just wanted to be something with a pretty dress. She chose a witch that had a long black dress and fancy hat. Nathan wanted to be the skull trooper from Fort Night. At first he just got a black body suit and a skull mask which he was great with. Then they talked Mama into taking them to the Halloween shop and he saw that they had the Unicorn Pick Axe which he said would go so fast. So of course she got that for him and some accessories for Charlotte. The next time they talked me into going to the Halloween shop, Nathan saw the official FortNite skull trooper mask. Well, he just had to have that one and we had to get it that minute or it would sell out. So we got that one and returned the other one. Everyone was happy! We had fun carving pumpkins. They each did their own. And we also went to the neighborhood party. Then we went trick or treating in our own neighborhood. They got invited to go trick or treating with their friends but they both said they just wanted to go with the four of us and do it in our neighborhood. I thought it was sweet they didn't really want to be with friends, just mommy and daddy :)

Zoo Field Trip

Our first 2nd grade field trip was to the zoo! It was so much fun because it was the first field trip I got to take with Charlotte :) That week was also a week of dress up days...this day was Super Hero day...they all wore their capes and superhero shirts. Charlotte wore the cape I made her from her preschool days! It has come in so handy! I loved having fun with the kids and seeing Charlotte have so much fun with her friends!
