Charlotte's Pool Party

Once we finished the backyard project, Charlotte couldn't wait to have all of her friends over. We worked so hard to get the finishing touches done (like hang the lights). Charlotte has so happy about everything. She planned the food, snacks, drinks, activities. The girls just stayed outside the whole time and swam, played ping pong, danced, and ate. They were really sweet.

Pine Cove for Charlotte

This was Charlotte's first time to go to a sleep away camp. She went with Adalynn, Tinley, and Sienna. Addy and Sienna went last year and loved it. Nathan did not like a week away at camp when he went to Sky Ranch, but somehow I thought Charlotte would have a different experience. We spent a ton of money on all of the extra "essentials" so she was totally prepared and excited. We drove to camp with Addy and her mom, and I thought the camp site was so pretty! Charlotte thought so too and was so excited!!! After walking around for a while, it was time to go and it hit me I wouldn't be able to talk to or see her for a week. I got so sad!!! At home, I stalked the photo app so I could see what she was doing each day. And I kept watching the store account. Every time her money got low, I added to it. Wayne was so worried she was homesick and wrote for her to get herself a stuffed animal to keep her company. Then told me to add $40 more to her account :) I was so excited to pick her up!!! Charlotte was happy to see me but told me to definitely sign her up for next year. It made me so happy that she had that much fun!!!
