New Yard Boy

Now that baby boy is 14, he gets a man's job...mowing the yard! But Daddy made it better for him by getting him his own electric yard tools. He's got an electric mower, edger, and blower. I have to say, he does a really good job! He even got asked by our neighbor to take care of their yard while they were out of town in Europe. They paid him $30 each time he mowed, and they asked him to do it for 3 weeks! He felt rich and tired :)

Happy 14th Birthday Nay Nay!

 How is our baby boy 14?!? He and his friends celebrated by spending the day at the Frisco Athletic Center where they played basketball and swam (and almost got kicked out for going down the slides 5 at a time!) and then came back to our house for a cookie cake and presents. 

Back To School

Back to school is a mixture of emotions...sad the summer is over, BUT they both love shopping for new backpacks and clothes. We usually spend around $30-$40 on a backpack, but Charlotte sweet talked Daddy into getting her this one that she just LOVED and had to have! It was $50!!! Charlotte was excited to have Mrs. Hale for English and Sra. Romero for Spanish. I savored every minute of going to school with Charlotte...this would be her last year in elementary and then I'll be at Hicks all alone. Makes me sad to think about it. She loved my kindergarten class this year, and they loved her! And she was always a big help to me.
