Night Wolves Soccer

Nathan has played with this same soccer team for a few years now. He and his best friend Drew are on the team together. Its not the most competitive group, but both Nathan and Drew said they only want to stay on this team because they like the other boys so much and their coach. It really surprises me how Drews mom and I signed up with a random team, but the boys all just completely clicked! And their coach is so positive and caring. His wife and older daughter Laura also helps with the team. I just love how it really feels like a family. Nathan usually take turns playing goalie, but really Nathan is the best at it. It's amazing to watch him because he isn't scared to dive for the ball and always makes amazing blocks. He can also kick the ball back halfway across the field. Just like in football, everyone always comments about how great he is!

Fun Run

We had our annual Fun Run at Hicks today. This year was a little different because it was a Color fun run. The PTA moms all stood around the track that the kids ran around and squirted colored corn starch onto the kids. They started out nice and clean and then looked like rainbows afterwards.

Trading Cards

Wayne has collected cards since he was little and Nathan has always loved them too. Now Charlotte is into collecting too! For the last few weekends, they have gone card shopping together and then have so much fun opening them together, trading, and making sets. It was so fun to see Charlotte so excited about it.

Safari Park, Spring Break

During our Spring Break week, we decided to try out this safari park I had heard about. They are known for all of the tigers and lions they have plus you can hold baby animals. It was about 1.5 hours away so we left in the morning and stopped at Cracker Barrel for brunch. Then we headed to the safari park. It was pretty cool and the kids loved it. The only bad thing was that they didn't let you take your own pictures on the tour when you got to see all of the baby animals. But we were able to hold wolf puppies, a baby lemur, a baby tiger, and another baby monkey of some sort. We also got to get pictures kissing a camel! You held a cracker in your mouth and he leaned over to eat it!
