Perot Museum

Last weekend, we took Nathan and Charlotte to the Perot Museum which just opened in downtown Dallas. It is a 5 story nature and science museum with tons of interactive exhibits and activities for the kids. The bottom level is dedicated just to kids. There was so much to see and do, that we are definitely going to have to go back!!!

To start our day off, we went to breakfast at IHOP. I didn't give Nathan and Charlotte breakfast when they woke up at 7:30 so by the time we got to IHOP at 9:30, they were starving! They each ate pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, and apple juice. And they ate every little bit!

I started out with the stroller, but it was a little crowded so I ditched it and just let Charlotte walk (or be carried). She was acting like such a big little girl and stayed right with Nathan and Daddy. Her favorite thing to say was, "Nay Nay, come here and see dis!" She would say it like she just couldn't believe what she was looking at. It was so cute!!

Afterwards, they were both exhausted. We spent over two hours there so they pretty much fell asleep as soon as we got into the car. It was a really fun day!

Jump Street Playdate

Charlotte isn't feeling well this weekend so Wayne said he would keep her at home is I wanted to take Nathan to do something for the day. It's not that often that I get to spend time with just Nathan, so I was excited! Nathan decided he wanted to go to Jump Street which is a trampoline play area. It is really big with lots to do so I don't like bringing Charlotte here...to hard to keep up with everyone.

Not only are there trampolines, there is also a foam pit that you can swing into or jump into from a trampoline, an inner tube slide, inflatables, and a maze. We invited Nathan's friend, Sawyer, and the boys had a blast!!!
