Charlotte is adjusting to kindergarten. She is in the Spanish Immersion program like Nathan. We haven't decide yet exactly how we feel about it because she LOVES her English teacher, Mrs. Hucks but is not too thrilled about her Spanish teacher, Mrs. Scott. She says that Mrs. Scott yells. Charlotte is so sweet and quiet, that she just doesn't mesh well with a "loud" teacher. But, she has made some really sweet friends which I am so thankful for! She and Skylar still play together all the time but Skylar is in the other group. I know they will always be friends. So it's nice to see Charlotte making friends with some of the other girls in her class. She has really bonded with Adalynn. In the beginning, she talked about her ALL the time! I found out from Adalynn's mom (at a birthday party) that Adalynn was doing the same thing with Charlotte! So we invited her over for a play date. The girls played school in my room for a little while and then we went to our house. They had already planned to have a makeup/fashion show play date. Adalynn is just like Charlotte! She is a girly girl who loves to get fixed up. So that is just what we did! Adalynn even brought over some of her own make up. I just let them do whatever they wanted...makeup, dress up, play outside, picnic, She was the sweetest girl. The two of them had so much fun!!!

Ice Skating
I can't believe I've never taken Nathan and Charlotte ice skating at the Galleria! During the break, we decided to make this one of our excursions. We took Nathan's best friend Drew with us and had so much fun! I even skated! It was so funny to watch them slip and slide all over the ice, but they did not want to quit. We spent a few hours there and then Nathan and Drew went with Drew's dad to play football at the Cowboys practice field.
