Little Miss Charlotte had a bit of a hard year. Her Spanish teacher was not nice at all. After thanksgiving, Charlotte cried every other day when it was her Spanish day. She loved her English teacher, Mrs. Hucks though. On her English day, she was so happy! She laid out her clothes the night before and got out of bed so quickly. It was the exact opposite for Spanish. But she wasn't the only one not happy. I found out that many parents and teachers were complaining about Sra. Scott. It got so bad that we almost just switched her to English only. But Sra. Scott was pregnant and leaving for maternity leave before spring break. And we were told she wasn't coming back...thank goodness!!! Charlotte ended up loving the Spanish sub, but then was sad because her English teacher, Mrs. Hucks was also pregnant! She left in May. Her sub was sweet but wasn't as sweet as Mrs. Hucks. Then, a month before school ended, the spanish sub had to leave because she had already accepted another job before all of this, so Charlotte got ANOTHER Spanish sub! So crazy! But she really liked her too. It is just crazy that she had 5 teachers her kindergarten year!!!! She wants to stay in the Spanish program for first grade because of all of her friends, but if she is not completely happy, we are switching her to English right away. We'll just wait and see.
