Happy Birthday Papa

Happy 80th birthday Papa! Since it was Papa's 80th, we knew we had to do something a little different, a little special, but also knew he didn't want anything too crazy or attention getting. We decided on treating him to a nice dinner at Texas de Brazil. We knew he'd never go there on his own, but also knew he'd enjoy it. It was great! The men loved the meat, and Charlotte, Mama and I loved the salad bar!

School Dress Up Days

We had lots of school dress up days, but these two were Charlotte's favorites: 80's Day and Crazy Hair Day. For Crazy Hair Day, I just googled easy crazy hair, lol! I found the yogurt idea, and it just so happens we had JUST gone to the yogurt store! But we already threw away our cups, so Charlotte said she'd go back inside and ask if we can have two cups for crazy hair day. They were so nice to her and said sure. I cut out the bottom, twisted her hair into a bun, secured with bobby pins and then added real sprinkles. The real sprinkles fell off a bit so I cut little pieces of pipe cleaners and stuck those in too. We even added a cherry and spoon. She got so many compliments!!! It was perfect!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Charlotte couldn't wait to wear her new dress and curl her hair, lol! We had a beautiful day going to church, then going to Blue Goose for lunch, and then coming back to they house for an Easter Egg hunt. Charlotte has been a clutz lately and already had a bruised/scabbed leg. Then she fell in the restaurant parking lot and hurt it even more!

Coloring Eggs

 My big babies still like to color Easter Eggs. Nathan did ask me not to put any pictures on Facebook...I didn't listen to him :)
