Track season was so much fun! Nathan is a true athlete in everything he does, but he has always been known for being fast. He did the high jump, which he did really well last year, but didn't focus as much on it this year. He still did well, but trained more for the relays. He was in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and 100 meter dash. His team always came in first! And when he got the baton, he was like a bolt of lightning. Seriously! He made up so much ground on his turn. There were so many meets where someone watching would comment on his speed! Even when he played flag football, he was noticed for speed. When he ran the 100 meter dash, he came in 2nd against so many guys who were super fast and taller than him. Truly amazing. Arbor Creek made it to the district finals and won 1st place. Drew and Joel were supposed to be part of the relay team but both got injured so had to be replaced. But they still got first place in everything. That night was so special. This was one sport that Nathan knew he could always be proud because he ALWAYS did his part and did the best out of everyone!!!! And Papa came to almost every meet! Mama came to a few but the weather was usually pretty cold so she would just send cookies as a consolation prize ;)
