Nathan and all the boys his age are obsessed with their hair. Fluffy hair was the trend and you could watch all the videos on TikTok. Nathan really wanted a perm, and I thought he was crazy. But he's been growing his hair out so I finally said ok. I bought all the stuff. It took 2 hours! Just rolling his hair took forever. Then I was supposed to mix the activator and put that on. Well, I ended up getting confused and realized I put the neutralizer on first instead of the activator. And I was like OH NO NATHAN! After all that work, I totally messed up! He was so sweet to me and said it's ok mom. I seriously wanted to cry. We decided to just go ahead and put the activator on and follow the rest of the directions, then put on what little neutralizer we had left. We didn't know if it would work at all, and I kept apologizing to Nathan, and he kept telling me to please not worry. We rinsed and dried and it actually did work! It wasn't perfect but it was wavy, and he was happy!
