End of Soccer Season

Nathan and his best friend, Drew, decided they wanted to play soccer together. We joined a brand new team. No one knew each other. We didn't know the coach and just hoped we would like it. Well, we totally lucked out! Nathan and Drew loved all the kids and the coach and his wife were so nice! And they ended up being really good! They made it to the finals but lost the last game and came in 2nd. They were still happy though because they all got trophies. All of the boys enjoyed it so much that the coach decided to coach indoor soccer this summer for anyone who wanted to continue. Nathan, Drew, and most of the rest of the team joined too.  

Happy Easter 2017

Carrie, Chris, and Pearce stayed with us for the weekend. On Saturday, Mama and Papa came over as well as Helen and we cooked out, colored eggs, and had an egg hunt.  Our egg hunt had a golden egg with $5 in it. Carrie and I hid it well, but it was not hard enough that Pearce or Charlotte couldn't find it.  Although Pearce and Charlotte gave it their best shot, Nay Nay found the golden egg!  What's so sweet, though, is that he later used that $5 to buy Pearce a toy car at CVS :)  Sunday morning, the kids got up bright and early, ready to see what the Easter bunny had left them.  They were so excited to see their surprises!  We all got dressed and ready for the church service.  The kids looked soooo cute!  The kids all went to "big church" with us and they did really well.  After church, we went out to eat and then went back to Ashley and Wayne's house.  The kids played some more, we got to see Ashley's classroom, and we took them to see Baby Boss.  We really had a great time with everyone and such a nice Easter weekend!  

Mother/Son Night

Our school hosts a Daddy/Daughter Dance and a Mother/Son Night. We always have fun because Nathan loves being with his friends! I really like his friends and their moms. We played laser tag, did the ropes course, played video games, went bowling, and ate lots of good food! I definitely had the cutest date there!!!

Citizen of the 9 Weeks

Nathan got Student of the 9 weeks. Two kids from each class are picked each 9 weeks. It is based on behavior, attitude, and grades. Nathan loves his teachers so much so he is always Mr. Perfect at school!
