Dress Up Days at School

Charlotte and Nathan always want to participate in any dress up days. The first was Future Career Day and Charlotte dressed up as a teacher...like her mommy :) Nathan was a Cowboys football player.  Then it was twin day and Charlotte and Adalynn were on the phone for about an hour going through their closets to pick something that matched. They are too cute! Nathan and his football team dressed in their uniform or black shirts, white shorts but I didn't get a picture of them :( Then it was favorite book/movie character. Nathan wanted to be Black Panther so I stayed up late making him a last minute necklace out of cardboard triangles and foil! Charlotte was an angel...from the bible!

Student Council Elections

Nathan was in Student Council this year but had no intention of running for an office because he wants very little commitments and responsibility, ha! But his favorite teacher talked him and Drew into running for office...I tried to tell him he should do it but he wouldn't listen to me. Once Mrs. Klima encouraged him, he didn't want to let her down :) He decided to run for historian because it seemed like the office with the least amount of work and he does like to make videos and take pictures. Wayne helped him write a great speech that was really funny and then I helped him make his poster. He wanted a picture of himself with Rusty in Wayne's office. Here are the ones we took. The last pictures show our final products. 

The elections were held the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. We were driving to the lake and Nathan kept checking the website for results. It took so long for them to post, but one of the teachers at school texted me before it was official that Nathan won! He was so excited!!!!! It will be interesting to see what his job actually entails. I know he will do a great job though.
