Family Baptism

What a special day this was! Nathan decided first that he wanted to get baptized, and then Charlotte decided that she did as well. Wayne was baptized when he was younger but decided he wanted to rededicate his life. I have never been officially baptized so we decided to get baptized as a family! Nathan and Charlotte have really enjoyed church, and we are so proud of the Christians they have become. We are all still learning and growing, but we are proud of the steps we have taken and continue to take. This day was made even more special by having Grandmother, Mama, Papa, and Nathan's best friend Drew and his mom there. Drew and Amy even gave the kids the sweetest nativity scene as a gift. 

Adalynn's Glamping Party

Charlotte's best friend, Adalynn had a Glamping birthday party. And boy did she go all out! Charlotte had been looking forward to this party for months! Courtney used a company that set up individual tents for the girls. It was beautiful and they had so much fun!

Nathan's First Band Performance

Now that Nathan is in middle school, he's really been enjoying band...for the most part. He does get tired of practicing. In fact, I think he kind of stopped practicing all together but still had a 98 in the class. He's kind of a natural :) Anyway, right before Christmas, they had their first actual band performance where we got to watch them play a real song. It was fun and he did a great job. His friend, Drew plays the saxophone. It is cool that he can play an instrument, but he really isn't interested in continuing with band. He's all about football next year!
