Thanksgiving

 

5th Grade Choir

Charlotte loved being able to join choir this year. She wasn't a big fan of Mrs. Shepherd but she did love going to all of the events with her friends. First she sang in the Veteran's Day Program, then they sang Christmas songs on the square and also at the mall. They also sang at a Legends basketball game. Nathan and Camden went to the game also...you can see Nathan following around Camden and meeting girls on the court afterwards. Their last performance was at a Rough Riders Game which was on Mother's Day. I didn't go, but Charlotte went with Sara and ended up having a lot of fun.

Happy Halloween

Getting to wear her olympic gymnastics leotard one more time made this little girl happy! She met up with Sara and Jessalyn to trick or treat around the neighborhood and go to our neighborhood party. Nathan stressed me out on this day. I had been asking him if he was dressing up or wanted a costume for at least a month. He was at the age where he kind of wanted to dress up, but wanted to do what his friends were doing, but none of his friends could really decide. So the day of Halloween, THE DAY OF! He and Joel asked me to take them to Party City to get some kind of costume or mask. He ended up getting a rainbow mask, but then he started to worry that it would look "gay" so I went back to party city and found a green one. Oh my gosh, it was so stressful! He ended up trick or treating in Heritage Lakes and had a fun time so it all worked out.
