7V7 and Junior Day Nationals

 

When Nathan isn't playing football for school, he plays 7v7. He also spent the first part of the summer going to football camps being hosted at different colleges. His dream is to play in college. Nathan is such a great athlete and performed so well during 7v7 and at the camps. Because he did so well at one of the camps, he got INVITED to play in the Junior Day Nationals at AT&T Stadium. He was so excited for this one!!! It was cool because he was playing where the Cowboys play. His name and picture was on the jumbo tron, and this boy did not disappoint. He made such good plays and was highlighted on their reel on Twitter for an amazing one handed catch. Plus he got the award for highest pro agility for a receiver. Most of the kids here were juniors and seniors so for Nathan to be noticed as a sophomore was amazing!

Happy Birthday Jen

For Jen's birthday, Charlotte and I took Mama and Jen out to lunch at the Star to a cute little restaurant and shop named Fleastyle. 

 

Uncle Stu and Cousins

We always love having the cousins over to visit. This summer was fun because the backyard remodel was all the way finished and the kids could all enjoy spending time outside. The kids swam, made smores, ate a TON, played ping pong, and just had so much fun being together. The kids always sleep over at Grandmother's house while Stuart and Jessica stay with us.
