Happy Halloween! Charlotte has a 50's waitress and Nathan a...the only thing I can think to call him is a blob :) Part of Charlotte's Halloween involved going camping with Addy. They entered the costume contest and got 2nd and 3rd place! Charlotte's costume is such a funny story because it was our 4th buy. Because of Covid, you can't try on like you used to be able to. So we picked out a pretty greek goddess dress but it didn't fit. The next day we returned it for an angel dress. Took it home and tried it on and it was too big. She really liked that one but when I took it back, there weren't any other sizes. We picked out a red devil dress. We took it home, tried it on, but was too small! UGH!!!! So I took it back the next day and happened to see this costume. Charlotte wasn't with me so I just got it and brought it home. It fit her PERFECTLY and she LOVED it! Plus it was on sale for $15!!! I have no idea why! We hot glued a starbucks cup and dessert plates to a tray. She looked so cute! Oh and we stuffed the starbucks cup with colored tissue paper so it looked so good! When we went trick or treating, I can't tell you how many compliments she got! This is my favorite costume so far!
Nathan had his fun too. We invited his friends over to carve pumpkins. I got them all carving kits with stencils to make these cool faces. Did they use them? Nope! Ha! So funny! They just free handed the carving and we got a bunch of teenage boys' masterpieces.
For trick or treating, the boys went to Jack's house and trick or treated there. Charlotte and I met Jessalyn and trick or treated in our neighborhood and then went to Jack's house for the rest of the night.
