In order to spend time with Grandmother but still keep her safe, we've been going over to her house to visit and eating in her garage. She will go pick us up something good to eat like Bubba's fried chicken which is our favorite! Grandmother gets the garage all set up like a restaurant. All we have to do is show up and enjoy! After we had lunch with Grandmother, we drove around Deerfield to look at the Christmas lights. We stopped by our house first to pick up Rusty and then drive through Starbucks. I always have to have a drink when looking at lights! This is an annual tradition that I just love! Listening to Christmas music, having the kids in the car all to ourselves, no phones...just makes me so happy!
