This was such a wonderful experience. We went on a Mother/Son overnight trip to Turner Falls. The boys were: Nathan, Drew, Cooper, Camden, Davyn, Ethan, Tyler, and Aaron. We rode there with Amy and Drew. It was the perfect place to take boys because there was so much outdoorsy things for them to do. They basically just went on their own and explored. They climbed the water falls, hiked the trails, they even caught huge bullfrog tadpoles with their hands. On the way home, Nathan and Drew told us the funniest story. They said that Camden actually brought roman candle fireworks. While we were back at the cabins, the boys said they wanted to go walk around and catch tadpoles. We thought that would be so fun for them. Well it turns out they walked to parking lot area next to the creek and lit the fireworks! Then the park security came and the boys ran up a hill and into the woods. Nathan and Drew said they were running so fast and laughing too. They got to a clearing and thought they were safe, but saw a 2nd security car driving on the road with it s spotlights. They pushed each other back into the woods, ran to another road and ran all the way back. They were both laughing so hard when they were telling the story. Oh and they had to get rid of the evidence so they threw the used roman candles into the woods and then worried they were going to start a forest fire. They were going to wake up at 3:00 am and go back and check, but then they all fell asleep :)
