How is my baby girl 13???? Charlotte had very definite ideas about what she wanted for her party. One of which was a balloon arch! I had never made one before but spent hours watching videos. Charlotte wanted a "preppy" theme which consists of disco balls and smiley face emojis :) And all pink! It also had to be a sleepover with only her closest friends. She planned it all! We went to the mall and had a scavenger hunt for a Starbucks gift card. Charlotte's group was the lucky winner! We had a bit of a scare because it was this afternoon that there was a mass shooting at the Allen Outlet mall! We didn't know anything about it and when we left, we found out that Stonebriar Mall had a threat made against it and had to be evacuated! Thank goodness we had already left! Once we got home, the girls added beads to sunglasses and made a bunch of dance videos. We ate so much that they were never hungry for cake! We ended up saving the cake for our family party. Her friend Adalynn surprised Charlotte by making a video of different friends, even teachers, telling what they love about charlotte and wishing her a happy birthday. It was so sweet!
