Nathan's Christmas Party

I feel a little bad because I was only able to go to Nathan's Christmas party this year. Mine and Charlotte's were on the same day at the same time! I snuck away for a few minutes to see her and give her a kiss but totally forgot to take my phone with me! I was able to spend the whole time at Nathan's party because I had a planning day with Nellie at school and we had subs in our rooms. He was so happy to have me there. Just like Charlotte, he loves that I'm a teacher at his school and I love being able to see him every single day!!!

Charlotte's Birthday Parties

Charlotte is doing great in Kindergarten and is making so many friends! She and Skylar are still BFF's (they have their own secret handshake) but Charlotte has also made many new friends. I love being able to see her at school with her class. I can tell that they all love her :) Addalyn had a painting party. I hear about her ALL THE TIME! So I couldn't wait to go and meet her and her parents. Well, she was so cute and sweet, just like Charlotte.
A couple of weeks later, we went to Brenton's party at Urban Air. All of the girls stuck together. And she and Adalynn held hands the whole time. So sweet.

Nathan's Basketball Team

Nathan joined a basketball team along with two of his friends from school. He's never played basketball on a team before, but loves going to the school court to play with neighborhood friends. He is loving it! He can't wait for practice and is always so excited for games. And what's really great is that he is so good at it! Most of the other boys on the team play on the same soccer team too. Because they are all new to the sport, they are not that good yet. But Nathan actually is good! He looks like the superstar! Some of them can't really dribble, but Nathan can. And he usually makes most of his shots. Their team hasn't won a game yet, but most of the points they score are because of Nay Nay :)

Christmas Preparations

During our Thanksgiving break, we got our Christmas decorations up and took picture for our Christmas card. They really wanted to get Rusty in their picture, but the picture was a little too dark with him. I ended up using the first picture here of the two of them. And to make things hard on me, the printer stopped working so I couldn't print the address labels. I had to hand write every one's addresses! With teaching this year, I'm all about shortcuts and ease...our neighborhood had Santa come visit so that was easy! They set up a snack table with hot chocolate and cookies and had a photo booth. Although my new teaching job has made me VERY busy, I just love it and I love my students. One of them gave Charlotte this mermaid blanket for Christmas. Charlotte was so excited and pretty much lives in it :)
