St. Andrews Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, Carrie and I took Nathan and Charlotte and Baby Pearce to Nathan's school for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. All three looked adorable! St. Andrews had tons of activities for the kids: petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, a fire truck, food & drinks, and of course the egg hunt. Depending on time, we were only going to do a few activities and then head out. But Nathan was having so much fun, especially when we met up with Lauren and Trevor. So we ended up doing EVERYTHING!

The petting zoo was Nathan's favorite part! Charlotte loved it too, but I could hardly get Nathan to leave! There was a little baby piglet that was so tiny, so cute, so squeally, and so fast! Nathan was on a mission to try to catch him and pet him. It was so funny to watch! In a few of the pictures, you can see Nathan trying to  climb into the "animal huddle" to catch this little piggy.

The piglet is black and is under the brown goat...Nathan has his eyes on him...

"Hmmm...how should I go about this?" Now the pig is under the llama. You can see his little head under the llama's tummy.

"Hold still goats! Here I come!"

"Gotcha!" Nathan completed his mission and caught the piglet for all of 5 seconds. He was so happy he did it, but then wanted to try again!

How cute are these two babies?!
Later on, we met up with Alison, Shawn, Lauren and Trevor at the face painting area. Trevor had a dinosaur on his cheek, and that was exactly what Nathan wanted! Charlotte chose a ladybug and looked so cute. Nathan loved his dinosaur so much that he didn't want to touch  it because he was worried it would come off. Charlotte, on the other hand, couldn't help herself and kept touching and picking at it. By the end of the day, it was half a ladybug.

Time for the egg hunt! Nathan and Charlotte both had so much fun filling their baskets and then sitting together with Lauren and Trevor to enjoy the candy.

Alison and Pearce
Trevor and Nathan are so much alike! They love all boy stuff, especially wrestling and sword fighting! First, they found sticks, and Alison and I just about had a heart attack. Then we went to the balloon making station where the boys got balloon swords. Much safer!

To end the day, Nathan, Charlotte and Pearce sat on the Easter Bunny's lap. Surprisingly Charlotte wasn't scared this time! I guess the first time was just practice. After the bunny, Nathan went on the pony ride. And then Charlotte and Nathan (mainly Charlotte) smothered Baby Pearce with kisses again. So cute!

Our really big event happened afterwards...Charlotte got her first haircut! Those pictures are next.
