Nathan's last day of school was on Thursday. He attended the preschool at St. Andrew Methodist Church, and we both absolutely LOVED the program. There were only 10 children in the class, 6 girls and 4 boys, and his class was such a sweet class! Nathan became such good friends with the other 3 boys (Graham, Blake, and Roman). In fact, we started a tradition of going to McDonald's every Monday for lunch since Monday was a half day. Nathan always loved going to school, and his teacher Mrs. Luigs was so wonderful to Nathan. I honestly can't express how thankful I am for the opportunity to have had the chance to have Nathan attend this school. So many of the moms in Nathan's class were really sad about the last day of school because their kids are going to Kindergarten next year. Although Nathan could go to Kindergarten next year, Wayne and I decided that since Nathan is the youngest in his class, we thought it would be best for him to wait an extra year before starting Kindergarten. So although I was sad too that it was the last day, I wasn't as sad as everyone else because Nathan is going back next year for Pre-K 5. And Charlotte is going to go too for 1 1/2 days.
Charlotte got all dressed up for Nathan's party. Mama actually made this dress for Charlotte, and I have to say Miss Charlotte is the cutest 2 year old I've ever seen!
When we got to Nathan's class, Mrs. Luigs had all of the kids sit in a circle. We passed out their graduation hats (made of plastic bowls) and she called each student up to get their "diploma" She even played the graduation music and did the handshake!

Afterwards, she gave each one a gift...a book about graduation preschool!
While Nathan was participating in all of the activities, Charlotte made herself at home by playing with Mrs. Luigs' baby dolls, kitchen, and reading books with Emma's little sister, Bella.
The kids decorated their own picture frames which had a class picture in it, and then decorated sugar cookies. Even Charlotte got to make a cookie.

"Woo Hoo! School is out!" |
Almost every day after school we played on the playground for a while. The boys always went straight for the tire swing! I almost got sick just watching them spin as fast as they could.
