Nathan's Lemonade Stand

Last weekend, Grandmother's neighborhood had a community garage sale. Our neighborhood garage sale is next weekend, and we always use this time to do a big spring clean. This year, we had lots of baby clothes, equipment, and toys to get rid of. We also had lots of clothes and extra knick knacks, but we did get lots of comments about Helen's garage and driveway looking like Babies R Us! We actually did really great at the sale, and Nathan was also a big seller...Grandmother set up a lemonade stand for him, and he and Charlotte had so much fun with it. We made the lemonade free, but put a "tip jar" out for him. He ended up making $15! When he and Charlotte weren't helping themselves to the lemonade (and they did plenty of that!) Nathan was really good about asking everyone that came up if they would like a cup of lemonade. He used  his nice manners and was a big charmer! One woman asked him how much the lemonade was, and this was Nathan's response: "Well, it's free, but you can give me some money if you want to."

I drew out the words on the sign with a pencil, and Nathan traced it and added a few pictures. The scribble at the top was Charlotte's contribution...
