Christmas 2014

This year we had Jen, Robert and Alexandra come to stay with us for Christmas. Nathan and Charlotte couldn't wait to see them! They spent the night with us the first night they were here. We mad a pallet upstairs for Nathan and Robert and watched the movie Maze Runner. Oh and Alexandra painted Charlotte's nails for her. They were in Heaven. On Christmas Eve, Mama and Papa, Grandma and Grandmother, and Jen came over to our house and we all went to our church for the candlelight service and then back to my house for a chili dinner and presents!

The highlight of the night was Charlotte getting an American Girl doll, which she has wanted FOREVER! Along with doll clothes. And Nathan getting Super Smash Brother and a remote control helicopter. They both went crazy over their gifts which was fun for us all to watch everyone went home

After everyone went home, Santa had to get to work at our house. Luckily, Nathan and Charlotte were tired and were easy to get in bed.

You would probably assume that the kids were so excited that they woke up first. Nope, it was Wayne that woke up! He was so excited for Nathan and Charlotte to open their presents! So we got an early start, around 6:45! I really didn't think Charlotte would wake up, but when she realized that Christmas morning was finally here, she popped right up.

Before bed, Nathan and Charlotte sprinkled their reindeer food outside so that Rudolph and Santa would be able to find their way to our house. Santa brought Nathan a new bike and Charlotte a karaoke matching. He also filled our stockings with lots of treats and Skylanders for Nathan. He also brought Charlotte the one thing she really wanted...charms! And mommy and daddy got her a charm bracelet.

They got lots of good stuff this year; DS and WII games, Operation, Jenga, Mermaid barbies, Lego set, Transformers, Jewelry box...we always go a little overboard when it comes to Christmas. It's just so much fun to see them so excited!

Charlotte you look so pretty in your nighty just like your little doll. Alexandra it seems that you should be Charlotte's age...how can you be old enough for college. Nathan and Robert you can play those games so well. And Mommy and daddy look great together. We had a wonderful Christmas. Love, Mama and Papa
