Here are pictures from each of their Christmas parties. This year was hard for me because each party was on the same day at the same time! I've never had that problem before. So I had to go to Charlotte's party. But after hers was over, we rushed to Nathan's school and caught the end of it.
Charlotte was so excited to wear her new dress. She was so cute with all of her friends and loved having me there.
At Nathan's party, we were able to watch them have a book exchange. Nathan was disappointed because he got a "baby" book instead of a cool one. But I was proud of him for not making a big deal about it in front of everyone. One of the other little girls didn't like the book she chose either and cried about it so the other little girl who brought the book felt bad because she knew hers wasn't liked. The next day Nathan came home very happy because one of his friends had gotten a Magic Tree House Book, and didn't really want it so he gave it to Nathan. And Nathan LOVES those books so it all worked out just fine.
