A few weeks ago, we had a week full of fun with Logan and Landon coming to visit. They spent a whole week with us and then Stuart and Tiffany, and Lexa and Landon, came for the weekend. Nathan and Charlotte had so much fun with the boys, especially Nathan. Grandmother and I had the whole week planned out and did really well getting the kids into a routine. Each day we had a "big" activity planned (Urban Air, Legoland and Rainforest Cafe, Jake's Arcade, Kid Mania, Five Below and a movie) then we would come back to my house to let the kids play inside, swim, and eat dinner and then (AND THIS IS THE BEST PART) they would ALL go back to Helen's house to spend the night, even Nathan and Charlotte! It was nice for me to get to have the night to myself! The next day, I would go over in the morning and we would start our day all over again. At Grandmother's house, they had their IPads. They watched movies with popcorn and lots of yummy snacks, and we brought some of Nathan and Charlotte's bikes and scooters over for them to ride around in the cul-de-sac. The boys all got along wonderfully, and they were so sweet to Charlotte. There were a couple of nights that Charlotte decided to stay at home which was kind of fun for Wayne and I. She loved having us all to herself :) The picture of her all dressed up was when she went to a Barbie dress up birthday party. She had so much fun doing that! And on our movie day, we gave Helen the day off and I just took the kids. We made a quick stop at the pet store and held the sweetest little puppy. They all fell in love with it! Charlotte and I went back the next week while Nathan was at a friend's house and held her again.
When Stuart, Tiffany, Lexa and Layton got here, the fun kept going! we all went out to eat to Pappadeaux's. The boys still stayed at Grandmother's house while Charlotte, Lexa and Layton stayed with us and Stuart and Tiffany. We swam and even had an early birthday party for Uncle Stuart. We had such a wonderful week and I am so thankful that we are all so close and that our kids have so much fun together. It was definitely sad to see them go, but I think this is something we will keep doing each year!!!! Thank you Grandmother for treating us to such a fun filled week!
