Woo Pig Sooie!

I'm a little behind as usual. Two weeks ago, we had a big weekend! Lots of family came to stay with us for the Arkansas / Texas A&M game. We had Carrie, Chris, and Pearce; Stuart, Tiffany, and their kids (Logan, Landon, Lexa, Layton); Uncle Mike and his grandson Andrew; Darien and his son Jake, and then the four of us. Pearce stayed with mom and dad most of the weekend but still had time to play with his cousins. Lexa, Layton, and Charlotte stayed with grandmother while we took the older boys to the game. I was exhausted after the weekend was over but had so much fun!

Friday night, we were all just hanging out waiting on everyone to get here. We ordered barbecue and had a few cocktails. Pretty soon, it turned into a PAR-TAY! My neighbors and their kids came over. The adults hung out outside while the kids ran around inside. They had so much fun! I think every single toy we owned was out, but oh well. On Sunday, Carrie helped me clean everything up. I was so grateful!

Nathan, Logan and Landon, had so much fun at the game. We tailgated for a little while and then went in. Nathan is so into football these days! He thought the stadium was amazing and was just so happy. Of course, we had lots of junk food too! And the game was so close! We played really well and ended up going into overtime but A&M won at the very end. It was disappointing but we drowned our sorrows in a midnight dinner of pulled pork nachos and more adult beverages, ha! The boys fell asleep on the way home and went right to bed. They slept at our house that night.

The next morning, uncle Stuart and Logan got everyone donuts. We really had a wonderful weekend...even though the hogs lost, we still loved having a weekend to just be together, especially the kids.
