Corn Dogs and Father's Day with Papa

To celebrate Father's Day with my dad, we had a corn dog and swim party! My mom found the recipe that they use at the Texas State Fair for their corn dogs and decided to give it a try.

Here is Mama working hard! She did a great job, and they really were delicious!

And Wayne and Chris working just as hard at relaxing :)

Nathan and Papa

After Nathan's swim lessons, he has no fear! He loves to go under water and look at each other, and he calls the spa his "little pool." This is where he feels like he can swim all over the place all by himself. Pretty soon I think he's going to be wanting to jump off of the spa into the pool!

But for now, he's happy just jumping off the side of the big pool.

Happy Father's Day Papa!

Grandma came over too to enjoy the corn dog party...really I think she just wanted to hold Charlotte :)

Nathan wanted to be in the picture too!

And in this one with Mama and Papa...

And with his Daddy too :)

We're still working on potty training...it doesn't matter who's over, when you have to go, you have to go! He was actually trying to go poo poo on the potty, but he hasn't mastered that yet. We kept encouraging him to go, and without thinking, I blurted out "Nathan, we'll all give you a dollar for your piggy bank, and Daddy will take you to the toy store if you you go!" Well, guess what????

Nathan was successful and collected his money. Daddy took him to Toys R Us and he picked out Buzz Lightyear :)
