Two weeks ago, we went to Springfield Missouri to visit family. It was like a mini family reunion! Jen, Alexandra, and Robert weren't able to come, but we still had a great time! Nathan and Charlotte had so much fun with all of their cousins, aunts and uncles. Carrie and I stayed with Abba and Chuck and Mom and Dad stayed at Aunt Mona and Uncle Gordon's new house...which is fabulous by the way! The kids had a great time playing in the backyard and even watching a movie in their home theater!
On Saturday, Papa played golf with Chuck McCann, and Mama, Carrie, and I took our babies to Phelps Grove Park and then to Andy's for custard. Taylor and Christian came too and played and played with the kids. We then drove by Mama Pearce's house and Grandma and Grandpa's house. That brought back so many great memories!
When we got back to Aunt Mona's house, we played a dice game called Left, Right, Center which was so much fun! Nathan, Victoria, and Jake went with Papa and Rob to ride go-carts, Charlotte and Pearce played outside, we ate a great dinner, the kids watched movies, and then enjoyed huge lollipops from Aunt Missy and Uncle Rob. It was so wonderful to get together with everyone!
