This was Nathan's first experience with track and boy did he love it!!! During tryouts, he was always one of the fastest! He got selected to be on all of the relays. He also competed in the high jump. He's used to running fast, but with the relays, he had to learn how to hand off properly, how to control his speed and when to switch lanes. On the high jump, he had never done it, and he was a natural! He cleared 4'10" and at the end of the season, his best finish was 2nd place. His track team won the district championship. His relay teams always got first place all season. He ran in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400. They also set the district record in the 4x200. We have got a natural athlete in this house!!!
