Our Trip to Houston, Day 1

Mom, Nathan, and I left Thursday morning to first go to Austin to see Carrie and spend the night with her. The four of us (and Sadie) then drove to Houston on Friday. We couldn't wait to see Alexandra and Robert's faces when they first met their new puppy! Of course I took TONS of pictures so I'm dividing them into Day 1 and Day 2.

Here is little Sadie taking a water break. Isn't she absolutely adorable?!

Alexandra and Robert were so happy to see Sadie and Nathan. Of course, they were happy to see the rest of us, but I think the two little ones are their favorites! On the way down to Houston, Nathan practiced saying everyone's names. So when we first got there, he said, "Hi Allie!" and "Hi Robbie!" I also have to brag on what a good traveler Nathan is. He was so sweet and cooperative. I guess it helps when you have a DVD player in the car (we took mom's mini van) So now Nathan is obsessed with Dumbo...Bumbo as he calls it. Every time we got in the car to go anywhere, he pointed up saying Bumbo, Bumbo.

Aunt Jen saved all of Robert's fun toys. Guess which one was Nathan's favorite...the car! He would push this car up and down the driveway for hours if I let him! And if we went to the backyard, the car had to come too :)

He looks like he's pushing his car after it's run out of gas!

Auntie Carrie had to get her share of Nate time. She pretty much took over all responsibility, and I gladly let her!

"Who's ready to go out to eat?"
And here is a funny video of Robert and Nathan playing volleyball with a balloon.
