We started off the oh so early morning with a tricycle ride to the park.
We then went to breakfast at McDonald's. Uncle Chris was supposed to take us to IHOP, but he had a late night with his friends and was still in bed....lucky guy! He ate all of his pancakes and then played in the play area for a little while.
"Hey little buddy!" Nathan loves Otis :-)
Hmmm....I might be wearing him out!
That evening we went to Chris' friends' house. Dwayne and Elizabeth have Sammy who's 6 and Charlotte who's a few months younger than Nathan...isn't she so cute and tiny?! Nathan immediately loved playing with Sammy. I loved that Sammy had the same swim shorts!
He jumped off the diving board for the first time!!! He wore "water wings" and loved them because he could swim all over the pool without me.

Sammy was so sweet to Nathan. He loved showing him all of his cars and trucks.
Dwayne had some fireworks left over so he shot those off. At the end of the night Sammy asked if Nathan could sleep over :-)

Nathan, I was so proud of you for going of the diving board!!! You even went off it without your "water wings." Mr. Dwayne helped you swim to the side. You were so sweet with Sammy and Charlotte!
What a great pool. And to have two new friends...you are so lucky. Glad you jumped off the diving board because that use to be my favorite thing to do...jump off the high dive and swim to the side....over and over at Fassnight Park in Springfield MO. Love, Mama
