Family Birthday Party for Nathan

For Nathan, his 3rd birthday is a two week event! Last weekend was Nathan's big party with his friends. We started the weekend off by having all of our family come over Friday night for a taco dinner and a family party for Nathan. He knew his friend party was the next day, and he was completely wound up! My parents, Grandma, Wayne's mom, and Carrie and Chris, all came over to help us celebrate.

After eating dinner, we visited for a while until Carrie, Chris, and Otis got into town. Then we put on birthday hats, sang to Nathan, ate cake and chocolate pie (thanks Mama), and opened presents. Nathan was so excited about the next day that I didn't think he'd ever get to sleep that night!















Nathan got money for his piggy bank, three games, and an art set...he was one happy boy! When he did finally go to sleep that night, he told me that he was so excited to see his friends tomorrow. I was worried that he would wake up at the crack of dawn because his party was all he could think about, but he actually slept in!
