Nathan's party was Wednesday afternoon at 1:30, so I did have a little bit of time in between parties to relax...aka dishes and laundry. I was a little nervous about Nathan's party because I still don't know the parents all that well. It is really hard to get to know all of them because most everyone does carpool to drop off and pick up, and this is the first function we've had in the class. We've been to several birthday parties, but it's still kind of awkward. You could tell everyone felt the same way, but we all loosened up after a while. I loved seeing Nathan with all of his friends. They were all completely opposite of us parents. They laughed and joked together, and it was so obvious that Nathan is very well liked.
The kids rotated from table to table while doing different activities. Nathan made an ornament with his picture, glittery reindeer food, played bingo, made a peppermint reindeer, and overly decorated a sugar cookie. He was in the best mood and so cute.
